The week-long event celebrates the benefits of coaching

International Coach Week is held in May each year, and honors the contribution of coaches to improving people’s lives and discovering self-sufficiency. During this week-long celebration, many coaches offer services and activities to highlight the impact and value of working with a career coach to discover the American dream. There are over 23,300 trainers in North America, helping different types of people focus and advance their careers. According to the International Coaching Federation, the average coaching client is between the ages of 35 and 44.

“Our instructors have been helping people chart a new course for over 35 years,” said Terry Powell, visionary founder of TES. “Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment so that people can discover enough about themselves to make informed decisions about their professional future.”

Instructor help set goals

TES coaches help open their eyes to new future possibilities and make their dreams come true. Our instructors use learning-based tools to help people chart a new course at no cost to a turn in their careers. Our team of coaches across the country started the coaching process by helping people determine the four pillars of financial independence. They help people discover their short and long term goals and evaluate their strengths. Setting goals for their income, lifestyle, assets and equity helps people reach a point of clarity about their future.

Coaches introduce new possibilities

After people set their goals, TES coaches help guide people when they decide they want to take on a new corporate job, start a business from scratch, or invest in a franchise. Throughout the journey, our coaches hold people accountable for their goals and create awareness.

Many people give up before learning what makes an entrepreneur achievable and can help them take charge of their careers. Although they have strong leadership skills and a strong work ethic, they tend to take on the risk of starting a new business or assume that they do not have enough liquid capital to run the business.

As entrepreneurs, our trainers understand the power of entrepreneurship and what steps people can take to achieve their goals. Investing in a franchise allows people to reap the benefits of owning a business with less risk. The franchising brand offers a proven business model with recognition, training and support.

“After spending 30 years in corporate America, I realized that I had lost my passion for what I was doing,” said Brian McNamara, a career proprietary coach at TES. Prior to joining the TES team as an entrepreneur, McNamara worked in leadership roles at retail giants such as Gamestop and JCPenney. “Now, as a trainer, I can spend my days talking to people and listening to their stories. I help guide them and hopefully introduce them to something that might be interesting to them. “

TES recently earned an enticing spot on Entrepreneur Magazine’s annual list of 2022’s top home-based franchises.
