Forbes 2022 Next Billion-Dollar Startup List: Nominations are open

With this year’s Forbes Next Billion-Dollar Startup List, we’re looking at alumni companies like Dordash, Benching and Alchemy in their early days.

T.His summer, for the eighth year in a row, Forbes A spotlight will shine on innovative and fast-growing startups that we believe are the best shot to unicorn with the next billion-dollar startup list.

Compiled together with TrueBridge Capital Partners, it Forbes The list shows 25 companies that are on their way to becoming billionaire startups and the profiles of entrepreneurs behind their success.

The past list includes DoorDash (back in 2015), Opendoor (2016), Ginkgo Bioworks (2017), Lemonade (2018), Duolingo (2019), Benchling (2020) and Alchemy (2021). You can see last year’s list here or the 2020 list here.

In terms of liquidity in today’s market, the most successful alumni on the list have easily surpassed 1 billion. Dordash, for example, went public in December 2020, and the recent market cap traded at 44 44 billion. The biotech software firm Benching already reached মূল 6.1 billion last November, two years after the cut, and is now preparing for an initial public offering. And blockchain firm Alchemy valued 3.5 billion in our listing months last year, then tripled that number to $ 10.2 billion.

With this year’s list, we’re looking for the next dordash, benching or alchemy in their early days.

Here are the basic qualifications:

1-All companies must be US based.

2-All must be held privately, and be enterprising with current valuations below $ 1 billion.

Companies listed before 3 are not allowed to reopen.
